Bobrisky gender is causing confusion on social media. A follower called the social media celebrity ‘bro’, but most of his followers disagreed.

Who is Bobrisky?

Bobrisky is a Nigerian transgender-woman who identifies with feminism more than masculinity. Coming from Nigeria, a country where the”LGBT Community” is not legally recognized, Okuneye announced that her preferred pronouns are “she” and “her.”

Bobrisky before transformation, was a student at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) who successfully graduated with a Bachelor of Accounting degree. She joined the campus after successfully finishing her high school studies at the King’s College located in Lagos. Coming from a polygamous family, she happened to be the last born and was nicknamed “Bobo.

Rise to fame

As an accounting student, Okunneye started her first business by opening up her beauty shop located in Ikeja. She became famous among her campus colleges for her outstanding sense of fashion. Bobrisky became more famous through her Snapchat account where she shared numerous controversial and trending videos.

Luxury lifestyle

For her birthday parties, Okuneye usually throws huge parties filled with luxuries. She once hosted a birthday party that did not go as planned. Bobrisky birthday party was to happen at The Pearl Gardens located in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.

However, the party was crashed and shut down by the Nigerian police. In attendance were some Nigerian celebrities, homosexuals, and cross-dressers. The subject of homosexuality is not allowed in Nigeria. Therefore, when the police shut down the event, they acknowledged that it was in the best interest of all homosexuals to leave the country.

The trouble began when one of his/her followers referred to bobrisky as ‘bro’ as he shared his opinion on the picture below shared by the social influencer.
