Police brutality, harassment, killings, extortion etc is now the order of the day in Nigeria. The Nigerian Police is definitely the most undisciplined police in the world. Their lack of professionalism, incompetence, inhumane, penchant to lie and kill innocent unharmed citizens is unimaginable. Nigerians are now more afraid of the Nigerian police officers (especially those with guns) than they do the the regular armed robbers and kidnappers.

When those expected to protect citizens are now the ones terrorizing and killing them, then there is a BIG problem.

A video has emerged where a Nigerian Police officer was seen “harassing” a young man with members of his family out of the gate with him as the police packed their Van in front of the gate apparently, to move the young man away.

While carrying out their illegal act, a neighbor to the young man being harassed came out of his gate to let the police officers know that, he is recording their activities. The police officer then took a 360° turn twice, went after the neighbor and shot at him.

Although, we can’t tell if his shot hit his target or not as the video did not show that area.

The question now is, what on earth will make a supposed trained police officer to shoot at an unharmed citizen who is not a criminal? Is this a kind of a curse on Nigeria police or what?
