The house was built in 2005 and the plans of it appears like it was that of a museum. However, it became a surprise to residents of Abuja city when it was developed into a monolith. The house was locked down by the EFCC in February as the owner was rumoured to be under investigation.

The owner, Abubakar Aliyu hails from Adamawa and is the CEO of A.A oil, a popular oil and gas company in northern Nigeria. This property is one of the evidences that there is money in Nigeria for those who know how to get it.
