Soldiers Attack Policemen, Seize Patrol Van Over The Death Of Their Colleague In Delta

Panic, on thursday morning enveloped in Bomadi area as Soldiers and police are reported to be in great clash over the death of a soldier officer shot by a police in Bomadi town headquarters of Bomadi Local Government Area Delta.

Although reason on what lead to the clash were still unknown at the time of the this report, it was recorded that soldiers from 222 battalion in Agbarha-Otor stormed the area and have allegedly gone on a rampage in the protest of the incident.

According to reports, one senior officer(name withheld) from Bomadi police station who confirmed the incident disclosed the condition of the situations.

He said”We currently have a security situation in Bomadi as one of our men shot a soldier dead this morning, the soldiers are on rampage and they have been attacking any policeman they saw”

He added that they have already seized a patrol van attached to Bomadi Division.
