Fire gutted the container housing Smart Card Readers in Akure, Ondo State.

This was revealed via the official INEC office. The fire broke out around 7:30p.m tonight, 10th Sept.,2020.

The statement didn’t reveal the level of the damage done by the inferno. Men of the fire service are said to be containing the fire as at time of filing this report.

Investigation is ongoing to unravel the cause of the mystery fire.
