The final tweet posted to Chadwick Boseman’s Twitter account detailing his brave fight has broken social media history.

Chadwick’s goodbye, shared by his family on Friday, announced to the world that the much-loved actor had died at the age of 43 following a secret battle with cancer.
Twitter has now confirmed the announcement that Chadwick had tragically died is now the most ‘liked’ in the site’s history.
The post, which including a beaming black and white photo of Chadwick, has received more than 6 million likes following an outpouring of grief and support to his family.
Twitter has officially confirmed that Chadwick’s last tweet is the most liked ever, surpassing Barack Oabama’s poignant message about racism and a series of posts from K Pop band BTS, who have millions of followers on the site.
“Most liked Tweet ever. A tribute fit for a King. #WakandaForever,” Twitter shared via its own official account.
The previous record was held by former US President Obama who shared the Nelson Mandela quote:
“No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin or his background or his religion.”
Obama’s tweet, which has 4.3 million ‘likes’, came the same day as a deadly car attack on people protesting white supremacy in Charlottesville on August 2017.
