Players from two football teams left their kit at home in a stand against commercialization in football.

The match was organized by Gerrit Starczewski at Stimberg Stadium on the Ruhr, saw the men take to the pitch naked but with football boots, coloured socks and numbers painted on their backs.

The organizer said he wanted to protest the lack of authenticity in modern day football with his naked actions.

Thankfully, nobody kicked the wrong ball.
