Dunsin Oyekan is the only son of a Pastor and a pioneer of the Pentecostal move in Nigeria, Gbadebo Oyekan .

He started singing and playing the guitar at age 10. He attended Airforce Nursery and Primary school Ilorin, Federal Government College Ilorin and Baptist Model High School Ilorin.

The pastor shared his view on the difference between songs and sounds via his Instagram page. He said that the Lord told him that He doesn’t give songs but sounds.

He further explain why some songs are just one line but carries boggy grace.
