Controversial Nigerian journalist, Dr. Kemi Olunloyo had an altercation with some Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) operatives around the Badore area of Ajah, Lagos which caused a viral sensation on social media. Olunloyo has been in the news of recent for her strong but as yet unsubstantiated opinions on the ongoing D’Banj/Seyitan Babalola saga. 

Taking to her Instagram page, the journalist shared a video capturing the moment she engaged in a heated exchange with the SARS operatives.

The journalist accused the SARS operatives, of harassing and trying to extort money from her artiste, Wealth 9ja as she also slammed the unit for extorting and harassing Nigerians.

This isn’t Kemi Olunloyo’s first brush with the Nigerian police. 

Pastor David Ibiyeomie organized her arrest in October 2017 for alleged defamation and the social commentator was remanded in police custody without a proper conviction and sentencing for nearly 6 months before her release was secured.

Olunloyo has personal experience and real reason to be wary of the Nigerian police.

In a follow-up post she made on twitter, the journalist claimed that her health has significantlydeteriorated.
