Barely six months when fire entered Ekiosa market in Benin City which saw thousands of goods lost in the inferno, that of Oba market, be believed to be the largest in Benin City occurred 2 hours ago.

In the video, a cry of a woman was heard on the background, obviously she might have lost her goods to the inferno.
The Edo State Government, as at the time of this report, already mobilized the fire service, security agents and other relevant personnel/agencies to the market.

The cause of the fire is still unknown as we await full details later in the day.
