One aspirants in the NPP Parliamentary Primaries in the Effiduase Asokore Constituency has been brutalized by some suspected military personnel.

A journalist who witnessed the incident narrated that the aspirant, Lawyer Kwame Adom-Appiah was physical assaulted by the military personnel behind a school block near the police station.

The contestant who is also Ashanti Regional Deputy Secretary of the NPP was seen with a bruised lip and battered face after the assault.

According to the journalist, he explained that he quizzed the aspirant on the reason for the manhandle but he declined that “Nothing Happened”.

Lawyer Adom-Appiah is contesting against the incumbent MP, Dr. Nana Ayew Afriye.
