Nigerian Police, recently, disclosed that the woman Kehinde Afolake who slapped ASP Adeyemi Ogunyemi, 13 times and bit two others, in Eruwa Oyo State said to have been arrested.

According to the report,

The the woman was spotted in a video slapping the ASP Adeyemi Ogunyemi frequently as she claimed they came to assault in her house, in her statements, said why will the police man slapped her even while she was eating in a first place, as she claimed government did not give them such instruction.

Adeyemi Ogunyemi who is a Divisional Crime Officer at Eruwa Police Division did not retaliate the assault from the woman as not to excalate the whole issue, he took the assault in his stride and was heard refraining his angry subordinates who attempted to lose him from the woman’s grip to avoid an escalation of the situation.

He explained that, the woman also assaulted two female police officers, identified as Inspr. Ojola Abiola and Inspr. Queen Eguaoje, and bit one of the women during an attempt to bring her to the Police Station for the earlier incident of serious assault on the DCO.

The Inspector General of Police, IGP Mohammed Adamu, commended ASP Ogunyemi for what he described as uncommon restraint and professionalism in the face of the unprovoked attack.
