“They Want To Recover Their Donations To FG” –Nigerians Reacts Over Stamp Duty Debit Alert From Banks

Nothing is more annoying than waking up earling in the morning and you receive an alert from your bank that you have been debited for a transaction you didn’t not carry out.

It is even more frustrating when the debit alert is one of the unwanted bank charges.

The thing trending with Nigeria banks is the illegal debit of stamp duty from accounts of their customers which have sparked reactions from Nigerians.

Majority of Nigerians are with the opinion that the banks are trying to recover the money they donated to Federal Government in fighting the Covid-19 pandemic.

The truth is not far fetched, because how can majority of Nigerians receive debit alert which carries same description.

According to a popular adage;the Witch Cried yesterday and the child died the following day,people will definitely believe it was the cry of the witch that killed the child.

This is really way out of normal,which I think all banks must give logical explanations to.
