EDO: Obaseki Dumps Oshiomhole Switches Attention To Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu As APC Primaries Draws Close.

The intensity of electioneering campaign ongoing in Edo state clearly shows that the September 19th gubernatorial election would be the biggest political event of the year 2020 in Nigeria.

Already the APC is rumoured to be sourcing for a consensus candidate to present against the incumbent Governor Godwin Obaseki.

Obaseki who has since fallen out of favor with the APC leaders has vowed to fight on till the last.

Initially, Obaseki’s major plans to secure the APC party’s ticket was through the ousting of Adams Oshiomhole as the National Chairman of the party.

Part of the strategies to be deployed by the aides of Obaseki is to start a campaign of calumny against Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu.

They have gone to their achieve to dig out past campaign materials when Oshiomhole was busy campaigning for Godwin Obaseki four years ago.

The materials are meant to be doctored to show a biased angle of events of things spoken by major contestants in the 2016 Edo Guber polls.

Also, the media aides are to cause a series of confusion amongst the followers of the different aspirants of the APC that are set to bring a unified candidate to square up with the incumbent Obaseki.
