Anxiety had continued to mount over Kano state, especially it’s response to covid 19 pandemic, believe to be responsible for growing number of deaths recorded daily in the state. People of the state are now living in fear of the unknown, many have started to leave the ancient city in droves and may result to spreading of Corona virus to the neighboring states.

The federal government already escalated it’s containment effort by opening additional three mobile testing centre to strengthen the war against Corona virus in Kano state.

However, Kano state government, Ibrahim ganduje, had despite the disturbing situation in the state relaxed the lockdown order for Ramadan purpose, with increase in death in the last 24 hours which include the death of Emir of Rano, Alhaji Tafida Abubakar illa and the State head of communication UNICEF Malam Rabiu Musa. These have further increase fear in the state, particularly, many of the almajiri’s that have left the state have tested positive to Corona virus.
